A.I.M.

A.I.M. (Advanced Idea Mechanics) is a think tank of elite super scientists. Their primary goal is to activate MODOC (The Mental Organism Designed Only for Conquest), who will then lead AIM to world conquest and create a new world in the image of science.

History

AIM is shown working on the MODOC project in Ready, A.I.M., Fire, at the time when Basil Sandhurst had Tony Stark enhance the Controller Disks. In Panther's Prey, Moses Magnum meets up with AIM to obtain the Vibranium needed for MODOC's harness. Iron Man and Black Panther manage to prevent the exchange.

In Desined Only for Chaos, AIM hires Ghost to spring the Living Laser from the S.H.I.E.L.D. Helicarrier in order to be a power source for MODOC. When MODOC is activated, he outs Controller for a plan to go against AIM to improve his Controller Disks. MODOC then usurps the Scientist Supreme and becomes head of AIM. After Iron Man and Living Laser defeat MODOC, S.H.I.E.L.D. storms the AIM headquarters.

Equipment

AIM's level of technology is highly advanced. Its agents use a variety of hovercrafts and the weapons they use are laser cannons, anti-tech magnetic nanogrenades that can shut down Iron Man's sensors, and gravity blasters that can shut down gravity around someone.

The organization is known for wearing their trademark beekeeper-looking outfits.
